Job Description
Version 1 has a great reputation for digital applications delivery. Due to our growth trajectory, we are now seeking a Java Developer to help drive innovation and product delivery within one of our key clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside some of the best developers in this area, delivering critical new applications and integration solutions. You will also enhance your skills and development expertise, working with thought leaders in the API space, Azure Cloud platform and gaining exposure to the leading Apigee platform.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering Java solutions across enterprise‑level projects and programmes. The role offers excellent career prospects for someone looking to make the next step up in their career and who seeks to work with new technologies and drive our ambitious development team to new heights.
Responsibilities
Key player in client’s digital transformation.
Develop new and bespoke features, and work on large‑scale integrations.
Work in an agile environment with fast‑paced sprint cycles.
Build front‑office applications for use by leaders within their field.
Introduce new technology stacks to the business.
Gain exposure to Microsoft Azure and Apigee.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2–3 years hands‑on Java development experience.
Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular and Node.js highly desirable.
Experience in an agile environment and comfortable with sprint cycles.
Previous experience building APIs is key.
Experience with Microsoft Azure desirable.
