Policy & Research Coordinator at Clúid Housing:
* Position: Policy & Research Coordinator
* Reporting to: Policy Manager
* Location: Upper Sheriff Street, Dublin 1 (Hybrid)
* Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract
* Salary: €45,830 to €63,017 per annum (depending on experience)
Role Overview:
The Policy & Research Coordinator will lead on Clúid's research development and policy awareness. Under the direction of the Policy Manager, the Policy & Research Coordinator will work cross-functionally to commission, analyse and translate internal and external research to influence policy and communications, and inform business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertaking, managing and delivering research on issues relevant to Clúid Housing
* Assisting in the delivery of the annual Adrian Norridge Research Bursary
* Assisting with the coordination of the Policy Ambassadors Group, Policy Voices and Resident Policy Voice
* Tracking, monitoring and evaluating Clúid's policy influencing strategies and contribute to team planning, budgeting and annual reporting
* Working with the Policy Manager, ensuring that Clúid Housing is aware of policy shifts within our immediate operating environment and assisting in the dissemination of information on policy and legislation to staff
* Drafting and communicating analysis and insight of key policy and political trends and issues for internal and external audiences.
* Collecting, analysing and summarising external housing research, identifying relevance and applicability to Clúid.
* Updating the Policy risk tracker to ensure accountability and oversight of the Policy team's activities.

Person Specification:

* Ability to build relationships with and influence stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail
Experience/Qualifications:
* Relevant Degree
* Experience in research and/or developing Policy
* Familiarity with major Irish housing policy research reports and key policy initiatives
* Knowledge and understanding of non-profit housing models in Ireland and across Europe
* Knowledge of governmental policy making processes in relation at least three of the following: (social housing, social policy, homelessness, economic policy, planning, real estate, property development)
