Excel Recruitment is looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client’s busy store in Mallow Cork.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-first approach, and a track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence. Our clients store has a busy forecourt, store, deli and fast food outlet- we are seeking strong Store Managers for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening, closing, cash handling, and staff supervision
* Lead and motivate a team to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
* Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management to ensure shelves are always stocked
* Handle rostering, training, and performance management for staff members
* Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
* Monitor store performance and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements:
* Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years` experience in a dynamic retail management position
* Strong people management and leadership skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing costs
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
