Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our dynamic financial services organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth plans and implementing sales initiatives across all levels.
Your primary objective will be to research market trends and member behaviour to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities. You will create outreach strategies that connect with younger audiences and community groups, as well as coordinate marketing campaigns and lead promotional efforts to boost engagement.
You will also embed a proactive sales culture across the organisation through training and support, overseeing external communications to ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment. Additionally, you will evaluate performance metrics to refine strategy and maximise outcomes, ensuring all activities comply with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A qualification in a business, finance or marketing discipline (QFA is advantageous)
* 3+ years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing—preferably in financial services
* Experience turning insights into action and delivering real results
* Confidence in working independently and influencing others across an organisation
* Strong communication, data analysis, and presentation skills
