Site Security Manager - £K + Benefits

The Company
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading security services provider known for excellence in the sector. They are seeking a Site Security Manager to lead and direct the security team on site. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring all duties meet required standards. This role offers the chance to influence recruitment, training, and policy development at the site.
The Role
* Lead and coordinate enterprise security activities for the site.
* Ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and assets through effective physical security measures.
* Manage the security team proactively, ensuring high standards of performance and quality.
* Directly manage shift supervisors and oversee recruitment, performance management, and training of security staff.
* Recruit and train new security personnel, including control room and pass administration staff.
* Support the onboarding of a new signature site with increased occupancy.
* Develop operational models and SOPs, overseeing flexible security arrangements during construction and occupancy phases.
The Person
* Previous experience in a similar security management role, with knowledge of manned guarding, law enforcement, military, or safety sectors.
* Deep understanding of security protocols and guarding operations management.
* Experience in designing and maintaining security and safety procedures and training programs.
* Knowledge of security control room infrastructure and technology, with ability to liaise with IT and security professionals.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels.
* Discreet, proactive, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Attention to detail, process-oriented, with strong governance focus.
* First Response Emergency Care certification or equivalent is desirable and must be obtained as a condition of employment.
* Security and H&S qualifications such as CPP and IOSH, and experience in event security, security technology, physical security, or training are advantageous.
* Ability to respond to emergencies and out-of-hours situations.
