Oliver James have partnered with a leading Financial Services client who are seeking to add an Underwriting Analyst to their growing team based in Dublin.You will be partnering with Division CEO's and leadership teams to enhance underwriting reporting, provide performance insights,support decision-making, and help ensure underwriting targets are achieved while also collaborating across key functions, including Underwriting, Underwriting Operations, Re/Insurance.This role also involves managing the creation of the non-life underwriting-year production plan and producing quarterly non-life outlooks by extrapolating production figures.The role:Perm position (competitive basic + benefits)Hybrid work model (Dublin City centre)Support work culture + strong growth/learning.Apply directly for more informationDesired Skills and Experience- (Re)insurance knowledge: Solid understanding of the insurance/reinsurance value chain, key KPIs, and concepts such as quota share and excess-of-loss treatieProfessional experience: 5-10 years total experience, including 2-5 years in underwriting operations, finance, or reporting rolesAnalytical expertise: Proven ability to turn data into strategic insights.Tool proficiency: Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Power Query, and Power BI for data transformation, visualization, and reportingData interpretation: Strong capability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and deliver actionable insightsCIP/APA desirable
