, is seeking an experienced
Payroll Consultant
to join their team in Limerick. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a global financial services organisation on a long-term contract, with scope to extend or transition into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform daily payroll activities to ensure accurate, compliant payroll production (including complex and year-end processes).
* Review payroll adjustments, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legislation.
* Respond to payroll queries and explain impacts of policies, tax law, and changes.
* Support payroll system updates, testing, and vendor management.
* Prepare and reconcile payroll tax and general ledger accounts.
* Stay up to date with payroll legislation and regulatory changes.
* Act as a subject matter expert, coaching and reviewing team members' work.
* Represent the department in meetings and payroll-related projects.
What We're Looking For:
* Several years' payroll experience, ideally across multiple EMEA countries.
* Strong knowledge of payroll production, reconciliation, and General Ledger.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work independently.
* Strong problem-solving mindset, with a focus on process improvement.
* Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment with strict deadlines.
* Broader knowledge of HR & Finance and their impact on payroll is a plus.
