Responsibilities include the following:
· Menu Planning
· Preparation of scones and breakfasts each morning
· Preparation of lunches and dinners for meals on wheels
· Preparation of chicken, bacon etc for salad bar
· Serving lunches
· Portion Control
· Minimising wastage
· Placing orders with suppliers
· Check and sign for all deliveries
· Storage of deliveries and stock rotation
· Catering for events such as Civic Receptions, Murder Mystery, parties etc.
· Supervision and training of Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porters
· Ensure quality of food at all time
· Report any complaints or problems to Manager
· Ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role is essential
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3pm with occasional weekends
