The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to take ownership of our day-to-day financial administration. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, working closely with the company directors to support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Purchase Orders: Raise Purchase Orders in Xero as required.
* Invoicing: Convert Purchase Orders to invoices in Xero, ensuring the correct payment dates are noted.
* Accounts Payable: Compile and present a list of suppliers to be paid on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, ensuring payment dates in Xero are accurate.
* Expense Management: Review invoices and receipts in Dext and allocate them to the correct cost accounts in Xero.
* Reconciliations: Perform regular Xero bank reconciliations and cash machine reconciliations.
* Payroll: Process company payroll in a timely and accurate manner, including pension contributions.
* Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and reports.
What We're Looking For (Requirements)
* Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper.
* Proficiency with Xero.
* A solid understanding of Irish VAT and payroll regulations.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* The ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
Bonus Points
* Experience with Shopify's financial reporting.
* Previous experience in a retail or e-commerce business.
* An IATI (Accounting Technicians Ireland) qualification or similar.
