Overview
A leading international food business is seeking a commercially driven
Innovation Manager
to shape and deliver its future growth agenda across Ireland and selected European markets. This role will lead the identification, development and launch of consumer-led product and proposition innovation, working cross-functionally to turn insight into scalable commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation Strategy & Pipeline
* Own and develop a multi-year innovation pipeline aligned to brand, category and commercial priorities
* Identify growth opportunities through consumer, market and trend analysis
* Partner with central innovation and insights teams to prioritise and progress concepts
* Translate consumer, shopper and customer insights into clear, differentiated propositions
* Validate concepts through testing, trials and market sizing
* Lead innovation projects end-to-end from concept to launch
* Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, R&D, supply chain, finance and commercial teams
* Ensure effective governance, timelines and decision-making
* Build high-level business cases including pricing, margin and volume assumptions
* Support development of compelling customer and channel propositions across multiple markets
* Drive portfolio evolution through renovation, line extensions and packaging upgrades
* Partner with brand teams on go-to-market execution and post-launch performance tracking
Candidate Profile
* 6–10 years' experience in FMCG innovation, NPD or portfolio management (food or related categories preferred)
* Strong track record of delivering innovation from insight to launch
* Commercially astute, with experience building and evaluating business cases
* Confident cross-functional leader with strong influencing and communication skills
* Analytical, curious and consumer-centric
* Experience working across multiple European markets is an advantage
