Job Description
The EMEA/LATAM Tax Analyst is a core member of the ServiceNow Tax Team, responsible for supporting the Tax Director – EMEA/LATAM in all external and internal tax reporting requirements for our legal entities in the EMEA/LATAM region. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate proactively with various functional teams across the organization. This position is based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the annual corporate tax compliance process for ServiceNow entities in the EMEA/LATAM region.
2. Prepare work papers, coordinate with external tax advisors to file Corporate Income Tax Returns, R&D Tax Credit claims, and arrange for corporate tax payments.
3. Collaborate with external statutory auditors and the Financial Reporting Team to prepare or review tax disclosures in the statutory Financial Statements.
4. Prepare income tax provisions for EMEA/LATAM entities for US GAAP and local GAAP, including current and deferred tax, tax payable reconciliations, tax accounts roll-forward, and return-to-provision true-up.
5. Support tax audits and controversy matters in the regions.
6. Build collaborative relationships with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and Corporate teams.
7. Research and evaluate the tax impacts of current and proposed legislation.
8. Assist with the completion of the yearly tax budget and monthly forecasting.
Qualifications
1. Experience in integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, or analyzing AI-driven insights.
2. At least 3 years of corporate income tax experience in Big 4 firms or industry.
3. Qualified Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor (qualified or semi-qualified).
4. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
5. Experience in research, analysis, and documentation of tax issues.
6. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative.
