Our Client, a mid to large sized Irish law firm in Dublin currently has a vacancy for an Employment Law Solicitor with 3+ yrs+ PQE. The ideal candidate will have
3 - 5 years PQE
in all areas of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, with public sector and private sector clients, gained in another legal practice and/or in-house. He or she should have strong organisational and interpersonal skills as well as an excellent work ethic, energy, enthusiasm and be highly motivated.
In addition to employment law experience, a keen interest in business development and leading file work will be an essential part of the role
Required Experience:
* Experience in assisting employers with the full range of legal issues that may arise during the employment relationship, from recruitment to exit;
* Advising on risk management and employment issues during corporate transactions and transfer of undertakings;
* Experience before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court and Civil Courts;
* Experience of advising employers on day-to-day HR issues such as managing disciplinary processes, employment contracts, restrictive covenants, pension issues and statutory entitlements; and
* Understanding of public sector specific employment law.

* An ability to generate new client relationships and maintain and expand existing client relationships;
* Collaborating at all levels with an ability to communicate points clearly;
* A calm and measured approach to problem solving;
* A willingness to attend networking and marketing events, when required.
