We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to directly support the CEO in managing day-to-day business operations. This role is central to keeping the organisation running smoothly and requires someone highly organised, dependable, and capable of handling sensitive matters with discretion.
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for high-level administrative support, communication, and coordination across departments. A background in communications is strongly preferred, along with a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the CEO's schedule, including meetings, appointments, travel, and events, ensuring everything runs on time and with minimal disruption.
* Prepare executive-level documents, reports, and presentations; draft correspondence and maintain accurate records for the farm business.
* Track and maintain detailed farm-related information and follow up on matters addressed to the CEO or General Manager, resolving them proactively.
* Support recruitment processes for key positions, including scheduling, communications, and document handling.
* Provide occasional administrative support across departments when required and assist with time-sensitive priorities.
* Learn company systems and operations in detail, taking on new tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the CEO.
* Represent the CEO in interactions with internal teams and external contacts, always maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
* Ensure accurate financial tracking, maintain filing systems, and support the CEO in managing documentation and compliance requirements.
Skills And Requirements
* Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Discretion in handling confidential information and a strong commitment to customer service.
* Qualifications in Business/Marketing are ideal; knowledge of farming or finance is beneficial.
* At least 5 years of experience supporting senior management.
* Proficiency in numerical analysis.
* A background in communications is a valuable asset.
