Our client, a leading education provider, is seeking a Temporary Administrator to provide immediate support during a high-volume period in their busy academic centre. This role is focused on assisting with summer school enquiries and bookings, working closely with international students and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Your new role
The successful candidate will manage and respond to Summer School enquiries received via email, phone, and Microsoft Teams. They will be responsible for processing booking forms and updating student records using Microsoft Excel. The role involves reserving and confirming accommodation for students, either in self-catering apartments or with host families. The administrator will reconcile payments, issue receipts in a timely manner, and ensure all financial records are accurately maintained. They will also be required to send English language level test links to students and confirm their participation. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all communications are properly logged will be a key part of the role.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 1 year of previous administrative experience is required. Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as this will be used extensively in the role. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, particularly when performing calculations related to course and accommodation fees. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required to manage correspondence with students and agents. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines. Previous experience in an academic environment would be considered an advantage.
