Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a MES Engineer to join our MES team at the new high-tech Dunboyne Biologics site.
Bring Energy, Knowledge, Innovation To Carry Out The Following
1. Developing and implementing optimal methodologies for the management of MES Systems, in compliance with company policies, quality regulations and industry norms.
2. Managing vendor performance and contracts.
3. Supporting investigations by finding resolutions to MES and automation problems.
4. Supporting, maintaining, and developing MES recipes and capabilities.
5. Collaborating with other technical functions to provide robust recipes and functionality that deliver reliable and sustainable performance.
6. Preparing and performing Automation Change Controls and ensure they are raised and closed on time in compliance with required quality standards.
7. Providing expertise and technical knowledge to technical functions on MES.
8. Performing MES administration and maintenance and ensure automation systems remain in a validated state.
9. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
10. Developing and update automation SOP’s, automation training packages and conduct MES training.
11. Ensuring all documents must comply with SDLC requirements.
12. Any other duties as assigned by the Automation Lead.
13. Represent Dunboyne & Schachen MES within global & corporate teams.
What Skills You Will Need
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
1. A Level 8 degree in a technical field (engineering or science) or equivalent.
2. High level proficiency with automated systems such as Manufacturing Execution System (PAS X), Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Delta V, etc.
3. Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate for resolution.
4. Proven ability working cross functionally, delivering technical solutions to MES issues.
5. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
6. Strong collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and promote knowledge sharing and implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices.
