With offices in Galway and Dublin– we deliver projects nationwide. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Ecologist to join our growing team.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering ecological surveys, assessments, and reporting to support planning applications, environmental impact assessments, and biodiversity management plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake habitat, flora, and fauna surveys including bats, birds, and aquatic species
* Prepare Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) and Natura Impact Statements (NIS)
* Input into Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs)
* Liaise with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders
* Support senior staff in project delivery and contribute to business development
Requirements
* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' relevant professional experience
* Strong field skills and knowledge of Irish habitats and protected species
* Proficiency with QGIS
* Familiarity with relevant legislation and policy (e.g., Habitats Directive, Wildlife Acts)
* Experience preparing ecological reports and assessments
* Full clean driving license
