The role
Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare is looking for an Early Years Educator to join the team this coming August/September 2026, based in Rush, Co. Dublin.
We are offering a part‑time position of 7.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 7.30pm-9.00am daily.
This role will be based within our Rush service working with Afterschool children aged 4-12 years for Breakfast Club until 9 am.
Salary – Competitive and based on experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the education and care of Afterschool children for Breakfast Club and drop off to school. There will always be a minimum of two adults on site.
Ensure the safety, security and well‑being of all children in your care.
Provide the children in Breakfast Club with a healthy nutritious breakfast before dropping them off to school across the road.
Work with the team on the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have
Minimum Fetac Level 5 – Supervision in Childcare/Early Childhood Care and Education.
A good understanding of all relative guidelines and regulations under Aistear, Siolta and the Childcare Regulations.
HACCP, FAR First Aid, Manual Handling and Child protection (all desirable but not essential).
Experience in a similar role desirable.
