Duties:
Maintain accurate and legible records of all samples submitted into the laboratory
Administration of Certificate of Analysis and other product related documentation
Data trending
Equipment Daily Calibrations
Ordering of laboratory chemicals and consumables
Daily/ weekly/ monthly laboratory checks on equipment as required
Chemical/waste and sample disposal
General housekeeping in the laboratory including glassware rotation
Preparation of solutions, buffers and eluents
Support the Analytical Chemists
Be flexible to demands of the role.
EHS Responsibilities:
Ensures that the Engineering Department conforms with company quality and EHS policies, procedures and management system requirements and complies with GxP and EHS regulatory requirements.
Contributes to achievement of EHS performance targets by:
Participating in EHS Meetings.
Carrying out periodic EHS inspections.
Periodically reviewing risk assessments.
Reporting near misses/ raising good suggestions.
Managing contractors ensuring they are following EHS guidelines
Criteria:
Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent in a Science related subject or have suitable experience.
Have an interest in laboratory work.
Attention to detail.
Understanding of EH&S.
Ability to work unaided and use initiative.
Computer literate.
