We are currently looking for a Staff Nurse to lead our team and ensure we are offering the best standard of care to our Residents.
Responsibilities Contribute to the efficient operation of the Nursing Home and foster a positive, safe, and person-centred environment for residents.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care needs, ensuring care plans are developed, regularly reviewed, and maintained in line with NMBI guidelines and company policy.
Provide direct nursing care, health supervision, medication administration, and accurate documentation in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
Monitor residents' health status, report any concerns promptly, arrange GP or professional reviews as required, and ensure effective shift handovers.
Maintain accurate records and uphold strict confidentiality while demonstrating integrity in all professional and financial interactions.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team, and participate in meetings and administrative duties as required.
Promote cost-effective resource management by monitoring and conserving supplies, equipment, and utilities within the Nursing Home.
Support the positive reputation and presentation of the Nursing Home within the local community, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and readiness for viewings.
Supervise, mentor, and support junior and new staff members, while maintaining personal professional development and attending mandatory training programmes.
Adhere to all Health Safety policies, emergency procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies, reporting hazards, incidents, or absences appropriately and undertaking any additional duties as assigned.
