Digital Transformation Leader

Our technology centre in Carlow serves as a strategic hub for software development and IT services, supporting a leading provider of income protection in the US. Our team builds solutions and business applications to transform our operations.


We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Leader to support our Solution Architecture Leadership Team and Salesforce Platform Governance Team. This role is critical to enabling strategic delivery, operational alignment, and transformation across enterprise platforms.




Key Responsibilities:



* Lead strategic program delivery and coordinate cross-functional initiatives aligned to architectural strategy, platform governance, and enterprise transformation.

* Drive Agile practices across workstreams, ensuring iterative progress, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.

* Manage scope, timelines, risks, and budgets across concurrent projects with a focus on quality and velocity.





Team Operations & Capacity Planning:



* Own and maintain schedules across Solution Architecture and Salesforce Governance teams.

* Develop and manage resource capacity plans, ensuring optimal allocation, forecasting, and utilization.

* Partner with leadership to identify gaps, balance priorities, and support workforce planning.





Stakeholder Engagement & Governance:



* Serve as a key liaison between architecture, platform, and delivery program managers, facilitating alignment and timely decision-making.

* Support governance forums, steering committees, and leadership reviews with structured reporting and insights.

* Ensure adherence to architectural principles, data governance, and compliance standards.





Operational Excellence:



* Maintain dashboards, KPIs, and documentation to support transparency and accountability.





Qualifications & Experience:


7+ years of experience in project/program management within IT delivery, architecture, or platform governance.



* Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and hybrid delivery models.

* Proven experience supporting digital transformation initiatives, including legacy modernization and cloud architecture adoption.

* Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project).

* PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.
