About Us
Classic HGV Restorations is dedicated to the full restoration of vintage and classic heavy goods vehicles. We are currently seeking a skilled Spray Painter / Body Technician to join our restoration team.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the preparation, repair, and finishing of classic HGVs. This includes dent removal, filler work, panel preparation, priming, and applying high-quality finishes using 2K paint systems. Care, patience, and pride in craftsmanship are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Repair and prepare damaged panels to a high standard
* Carry out dent removal, filler shaping, and surface preparation
* Prime and paint using 2K systems
* Sand, polish, and refine paint finishes to perfection
* Maintain a clean, organized work environment and handle all parts with care
Requirements
* In-depth understanding of 2K paint systems and spray painting techniques
* Proven ability to carry out high-standard body repairs and refinishing
* Skilled in panel preparation, filler work, and dent removal
* Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality results
* Experience working with classic or commercial vehicles is a plus
