Overview
* Develop and lead long-term sourcing strategy for Flavours and Seasonings for all PGCS locations, providing a competitive market advantage in support of PepsiCo's global food and beverage businesses.
* Lead development and execution of price risk management strategies to ensure predictable commodity costs.
* Partner and engage with senior stakeholders (GM, PGCS ELT, R&D) and Global Teams to design and implement sourcing strategies for all categories in scope.
* Manage executive-level, cross-functional priorities and relationships to deliver sustainable benefits in Productivity and Cash Flow, aligning with strategic objectives.
* Develop internal procurement capabilities and organizational structure.
* Implement strategies to meet PepsiCo Positive Sustainability Goals.
* Lead and drive results across a diverse team.
* Develop strategic supplier relationships to unlock value, ensure sustained productivity and supply, and expand the innovation pipeline.
* Negotiate supplier agreements aligning with company interests and policies.
Responsibilities
* Lead PGCS Flavours and Seasonings team to develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, service, and innovation, in collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.
* Understand key cost drivers, industry trends, and best practices to design and implement sourcing strategies. Develop long-term pricing mechanisms for competitive advantage.
* Coordinate with global teams to leverage best practices across PGCS sectors.
* Secure high-quality materials supply, ensuring on-time delivery, safety, and compliance.
* Work closely with the Global Seasonings team.
* Manage project teams to drive outcomes.
* Ensure productivity targets and compliance with financial objectives by increasing payment terms.
* Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes in accordance with policies and KPIs.
* Analyze business issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks.
* Lead supplier performance management and contract compliance.
* Implement strategies aligned with PepsiCo Positive Sustainability Goals.
* Build internal procurement capabilities through recruitment, coaching, and development.
* Develop and execute risk management initiatives to reduce supply risks and currency exposure.
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and audits.
* Provide thought leadership to business partners and leadership teams.
* Demonstrate leadership and influence skills to challenge the status quo and gain credibility.
* Stay informed on consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic trends.
Qualifications
* BA/BS in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; Master preferred.
* 6-8 years in procurement leadership roles, preferably within Food & Beverage industry, with expertise in sourcing, category management, and procurement processes.
* Experience implementing procurement best practices in a global environment.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills, especially at the executive level.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of business economics, quality, and cost drivers.
* Analytical and financial skills.
* Organizational savvy and ability to communicate complex topics to executives.
* Proven ability to lead and influence large, geographically dispersed teams.
* Results-oriented with the ability to meet bold targets.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
