Yard Operative (C1 Licence Required) | Carlow Town €15-€16 per hour DOE (negotiable) | Full-time A well-established builders merchant in Carlow Town is currently recruiting a Yard Operative to join their busy yard and warehouse operation.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse and yard duties with local delivery driving, requiring a valid C1 licence.
The Role Working as part of a close-knit team, you will support the day-to-day running of the yard while maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and organisation.
Key duties include: General upkeep and organisation of the yard and warehouse Picking, packing, and loading stock safely and efficiently Loading customer vehicles and delivery trucks Local delivery driving using company vehicles Forklift operation (training provided where required) Serving customers in the yard and warehouse area Liaising with internal staff to fulfil orders accurately Maintaining security and following health and safety procedures Requirements Essential: Full clean driving licence with C1 entitlement Previous experience in a warehouse or builders merchants environment Manual handling certification Strong customer focus and results-driven attitude Flexible, reliable, and able to work on own initiative Desirable: Forklift licence or experience Product knowledge of building materials Full C licence What's on Offer €***** per hour depending on experience (negotiable) Full-time, stable role Training and development opportunities Supportive working environment Apply Now To apply, please submit your CV today or contact Jason Devlin at FRS Recruitment for more information and a confidential discussion.
