About Your New Job as Senior Architectural Technologist
As the Senior Architectural Technologist in Limerick, you will lead and manage residential project work packages from concept design through to construction stage deliverables.
Produce conceptual designs, detailed technical drawings, and presentation materials for a range of residential developments.
Ensure all work complies with Irish Building Regulations, planning requirements, and sustainability standards.
Incorporate budget and programme considerations into technical decisions, supporting cost-effective and timely project delivery.
Develop and implement architectural standards, mentor junior team members, and foster collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
Support and contribute to the BCAR process.
What Skills You Need as Senior Architectural Technologist
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience (CIAT membership desirable).
Advanced design, documentation, and detailing experience, ideally with a strong portfolio of residential projects.
In-depth understanding of construction, regulatory compliance, and building performance for residential developments.
Expert user of BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite.
Understanding of BCAR Process.
Excellent client relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
Proven experience delivering residential projects in Ireland, ideally with knowledge of the Limerick and West of Ireland market.
