Job Title – Senior Site Engineer (Building Construction)
Project – Residential Project
Job Location – South Dublin
Salary – €65,000 - €75,000
About the Company
Working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a high value residential project (RC Frame) in South Dublin. This project is due to start in September however they are looking someone to start with the company soon and work along side design team.
The Role
* Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
* Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
* Perform quality inspections on works completed to ensure works are of a high standard.
* Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
* Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Supervise works of direct staff and sub-contractors.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior role.
* Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
