We are seeking an experienced IT Support Professional to join our team, a leading hospitality group.
The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Manager and teams at various locations, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
* Collaborate with the IT manager to facilitate day-to-day operations and resolve technical issues promptly.
* Configure and maintain PCs and user accounts on the internal IT system, ensuring security and efficiency.
* Install, configure, and support business-specific applications, enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for all IT department processes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and provide support for printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals, minimizing downtime and maximizing user experience.
* Offer hands-on technical support across all departments, providing expert advice and guidance.
* Manage desktop antivirus systems, protecting against malware and cyber threats.
* Diagnose, repair, and escalate hardware or software problems, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
* Provide initial user support and escalate issues when required, ensuring seamless service delivery.
* Perform general maintenance on audiovisual (AV) systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in IT support, with a strong track record of delivering results.
* Third-level IT qualification (minimum 2-year diploma) required, with a focus on IT support and management.
* Familiarity with Windows 11 Pro, firewalls, virtualization, and server experience advantageous, with a proven ability to adapt to new technologies.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills essential, with excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of AV systems advantageous, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Flexibility to work overtime if required, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
