This position is centred on day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of DeltaV systems in a live manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting production systems, ensuring the reliability, compliance, and performance of automation solutions.****Key ResponsibilitiesProvide real-time support for DeltaV control systems during manufacturing operations.Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues impacting production, ensuring minimal downtime.Perform system health checks, monitoring, and preventive maintenance on DeltaV systems.Implement minor modifications and enhancements to control strategies, Phases, and recipes to optimise plant performance.Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, QA and IT teams to maintain compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.Support change control processes, including documentation and validation for system updates.Assist with root cause analysis for automation-related deviations and implement corrective actions.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Six Sigma or similar methodologies.Maintain accurate records of system changes, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with site procedures.Provide input for automation standards and best practices for plant operations.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.Minimum of 5+ years DeltaV Batch automation experience, with at least 3+ years in a plant support or operations environment.Minimum of 2 years on-site life science industry experience.Good understanding of GAMP.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate, evaluate, and resolve complex project challenges.Ability to work independently and on own initiative.Ability to interact and communicate with other engineering and business disciplines.BenefitsRole provides a high degree of autonomy to allow the successful candidate to reach their full potential.Develop new skills and enhance technical ability by working with innovative technologies in a multi-disciplined environment.Opportunity to work with large corporate clients on exciting capital projects.**
