Avena Leisure - Supervisor -
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual who brings energy, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within the business. This role offers real responsibility and variety, with full ownership of all morning and afternoon operational challenges / tasks. These include maintaining pool water quality, monitoring and operating dosing systems, ensuring all safety procedures are upheld to the highest standards, and maintaining exceptional hygiene practices.
Throughout the day, you will confidently manage multiple responsibilities, deliver an outstanding customer experience and be a positive presence within the club. This is an early-shift role, typically Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, with occasional weekend cover required for holidays or short-notice absences.
The position offers an hourly rate of €16, along with access to valuable, business-relevant professional development opportunities, including Teacher Training, Reformer Pilates or Fitness Instructor qualifications, Bookkeeping, marketing and Health & Safety training .

* Available to work weekdays and occasional weekends as required.
Desirable
* Previous experience in a similar role or within the service industry
* Lifeguard qualification with a strong understanding of water and child safety
* First Aid and AED (Defib) trained
* Experience working with plant rooms and automatic pool dosing systems
* Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to report and write copy
* Swim Coach Level 1 qualification
* Willingness to learn new skills and progress within the business
* Ability to work to deadlines, both within and outside your comfort zone
* Interest or experience in photography
* Willing to learn Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Canva
