Job Overview
Senior Project Engineer Role:
This role is responsible for the scoping and execution of technical projects within various areas. The goal is to qualify new equipment and implement associated reliability and maintenance programs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and execute assigned projects including prioritization, resource allocation, status monitoring, and external communication.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to scope projects and ensure requirements are met.
* Develop and implement maintenance programs and optimize spare parts inventory with new equipment introduction.
* Translate strategic/emerging technology solutions into executable plans.
* Manage change controls.
* Participate in multidisciplinary site and multisite teams.
* Work collaboratively with System Owners, Maintenance Supervisors & Technicians, Capital Project Engineers, and Vendors for equipment upgrades and/or retrofits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or Relevant Experience.
* Typically 3+ years of engineering experience preferably in biotechnology or aseptic pharmaceutical environments, Automated Inspection, and/or Automated Device Assembly.
* Proven project management experience.
Key Skills:
* Strong mechanical capability with hands-on experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
* Demonstrated experience in GDP Compliant environments.
* Experience in MS Office, MS Project, Change Control, and Document Management Systems.
