Job Title: Financial Governance Specialist
Job Description:
This role is responsible for delivering effective financial governance and control across the Irish legal entities of a global bank. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
* IFRS9 Credit Impairment Calculation and Reporting: Develop in-depth knowledge of IFRS9 credit impairment calculation and reporting processes, ensuring they remain well-controlled, meet regulatory expectations, and are accurately reflected in internal management reports, external financial statements, and other relevant documents.
* Annual Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Lead finance support for the annual strategic planning process, forecasting, and entity profitability analysis, as well as projects related to local legal entity reporting requirements.
* Data Integrity and Control Environment: Ensure consistent and controlled data is used across CFO reporting, including internal, regulatory, and external financial reports. Continuously improve and enhance the financial control environment, demonstrating ability to identify areas for improvement.
* Risk Management and Compliance: Establish and maintain an effective risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of financial governance.
