Matrix Recruitment is seeking candidates for a Lighting Design Engineer for our client based in Co.
Waterford.
This is a hybrid role, with remote work available and onsite presence once per week.
Your new role
Responsibilities:
Design and develop lighting solutions using DIALux, Relux & AutoCAD
Interpret architectural drawings and create technical layouts
Ensure compliance with lighting standards and regulations
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients
Support product selection and lighting control system integration
What You Need
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
Must have 3yrs + lighting design experience (building services or related).
Strong skills in DIALux/Relux, AutoCAD, and lighting controls.
Knowledge of LED technologies and lighting regulations.
Ability to work independently and communicate with remote teams.
