Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring a Wintel Server Engineer/Administrator to join our client based in Dublin. You will actively contribute to the effective delivery of the team outputs, liaising and interacting to troubleshoot problems as they arise. Pro-actively seeking to identify root causes for recurring support issues.

Responsibilities
* Support the design and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP and other Windows core services.
* Knowledge of SCCM and understanding of deploying and managing devices in an enterprise network.
* Work closely with network, application, and middleware teams to support Windows based product installations, customizations, and deployments.
* Virtual Environment Administration and Management (VMware administration), including creation, configuration and resource allocation management.
* Physical Server and SAN Storage Monitoring and Management (DELL).
* Experience in managing Veeam Backup & Recovery Suite.
* Coordinates capacity planning and analyse information concerning job-processing time, hardware/software utilization, CPU/Memory loads, and system tuning.
* Assist the SharePoint Administrators and Network Administrators in developing and implementing plans for new enterprise applications.
* Assist our Microsoft 365 team as we continue to move from on-prem solutions to cloud.
* Assist our Citrix Administrator in maintaining a large on-prem farm.
* Analysing system, server, application, network, and input/output device performance. Providing guidance to junior members of the team.
* Familiarity with scripting technologies such as PowerShell is required.
* Provide necessary instruction and documentation for change requests.
* Participate in Business Continuity Planning and Exercises as needed.
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience with Windows server system administration/Wintel roles.
* Must have relevant industry certifications: Microsoft 365 certification, Azure Certification, VMware certification, or Veeam certification.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent in a related field and/or proven experience in the administration field.
* Strong experience with system management tools, logical file systems, and client/server environments.
* Experience administering Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, File Servers and IIS.
* Experience in the following areas: Patch Management, Anti-Virus, Clustering, OS upgrades, Computer Security and System Monitoring.
* Experience implementing, maintaining and administering SCCM.
* Experience upgrading server operating systems, imaging, configuration management, security certificate installs and renewals.
* Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment (VMware and Dell).
* Experience building, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows servers in multi-tenant enterprise environments.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex incidents in order to proactively prevent business impacts and disruptions.
