Clinical Leadership in Endoscopy
This role is responsible for providing high-level professional and clinical leadership in all aspects of nursing care, ensuring the highest professional standards are met.
The successful candidate will be a self-directed leader who can manage a caseload of patients undergoing elective endoscopy procedures, while also contributing to service planning processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing professional and clinical leadership in all aspects of nursing care.
* Acting as a positive and accountable role model in providing direct patient care.
* Assessing, evaluating and reviewing patient needs prior to their endoscopy procedure.
* Managing patient care to ensure evidence-based care planning approach.
* Identifying objectives, evaluating and managing the implementation of best practice, policies and procedures.
* Providing specialist information and education to patients and families.
* Being self-directed in learning to ensure continued professional credibility.
Eligibility Criteria
* Registered with the NMBI.
* At least 5 years post-registration experience, with 2 years in the related clinical area.
* Demonstrable evidence of continuous professional development.
* Requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and clinical capacity.
* Recent acute experience essential.
