TMF Group is seeking a Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MRLO) to join our Dublin, Ireland team. Apply today for this exciting opportunity!
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as MLRO for CBI-regulated funds, entities, and fund service providers
2. Serve as AML/CTF/KYC subject matter expert
3. Prepare quarterly MLRO Reports and attend board meetings (in person or virtually)
4. Draft and maintain AML Policies, Procedures, and Business Risk Assessments
5. Participate in monthly calls with service providers and client entities
6. Deliver ongoing and annual AML training to the board of directors
7. Conduct annual on-site inspections, review CDD files, screening results, and AML policies, and report findings
8. Handle financial sanctions alerts, investigate suspicious transactions, and report to authorities
9. Liaise with external stakeholders on AML/CTF matters, including regulators and law enforcement
10. Stay updated on applicable legislation, regulations, and industry best practices
11. Remediate AML/CDD files as needed
12. Perform other incidental duties related to the MLRO role
13. Manage the commercial aspects of the MLRO service line
14. Represent TMF at industry events
15. Participate in the full sales cycle, from pitches to contracts
16. Issue MLRO engagement letters to entities
Key Requirements
1. Knowledge of funds and fund service providers
2. Experience with third-party management companies (AIFM & UCITS)
3. Understanding of AML/CTF legislation, industry standards, AIFMD, UCITS, and related guidance
4. Sufficient experience to handle escalations and judgment calls
5. Compliance with Fitness & Probity Standards
6. Adherence to the IAF Framework
7. Possibility of Board or CBI clearance for appointments
