Job Title: Social Media Manager
National Beauty Distribution is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and elevate our social media presence for beauty brands. This role focuses on creative strategy, community engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to support marketing, eCommerce, and brand initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
* Take ownership of the day-to-day management of brand channels, ensuring a consistent voice, tone, and brand identity across all platforms.
* Develop and execute channel-specific strategies to grow audiences, drive engagement, and strengthen brand loyalty.
* Collaborate with the eCommerce team on the management and optimisation of TikTok Shop, ensuring product listings, promotions, and campaigns are aligned across functions.
* Plan, manage, and host TikTok Live sessions to showcase products, drive sales, and connect authentically with audiences.
* Work closely with brand, marketing, and creative teams to align social media with wider campaigns, product launches, and brand activations.
Content & Community Engagement
* Oversee the creation, curation, and approval of engaging content for various platforms.
* Ensure content calendars are planned, executed, and aligned with campaign objectives.
* Guide the team in building and maintaining strong online communities through engagement, conversation, and responsiveness.
Strategy & Execution
* Design and oversee social media strategies to align with overall brand and business objectives. Set KPIs, track performance, and provide actionable insights to improve campaigns and content.
* Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to ensure strategies remain fresh and innovative.
* Collaborate with marketing, sales, and eCommerce teams to ensure brand visions are consistently upheld.
Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media professionals, providing clear direction, support, and performance feedback.
* Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team culture.
* Develop training initiatives to upskill the team on emerging platforms, tools, and best practices.
Paid Advertising & Affiliate Marketing
Support the planning and execution of paid social campaigns, ensuring they complement organic activity. Work with the performance team to optimise targeting, creative, and spend. Assist in the coordination of affiliate marketing initiatives, helping to grow partnerships and drive brand reach.
What You’ll Need:
* 4+ years of experience in social media and/or digital marketing
* Confidence in front of the camera for video and social media channels
* Strong graphic design, videography, and camera skills
* Proficiency in video editing using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar software
* Expertise in Meta & TikTok Business Manager and familiarity with Google Analytics
* A strategic mindset for developing impactful social media strategies
* Previous experience in leading and managing a team
* Excellent understanding of TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms
* Preferred but not essential: experience in the hair & beauty industry
* Paid advertising and/or email marketing is a distinct advantage
