Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations at the new facility in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with a proven track record of optimizing processes and improving efficiency. Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry or related fields will be a significant advantage in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, organize, and oversee the daily production operations to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
2. Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and equipment.
3. Monitor production processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
4. Collaborate with quality assurance and quality control teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
5. Manage and mentor production staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
6. Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and make informed decisions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production environment.
8. Maintain accurate production records and reports, providing regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with experience in the automotive industry being a significant advantage.
3. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
7. Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
