Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Galway. This contract role will involve supporting the design, implementation, maintenance, and review of EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Main Responsibilities: 1. Implement and maintain ISO14001 standards through collaboration with external vendors. 2. Sustain industrial hygiene programs as site SME. 3. Conduct occupational health risk assessments based on on-site activities. 4. Liaise with global health teams for SEG reviews and specifications. 5. Collaborate with consultants for occupational hygiene monitoring and other related tasks. 6. Oversight of new chemical introductions and SDS database management for accuracy regarding chemicals used at the site.
