Advanced Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
Develop job descriptions and supporting documentation under the direction of the Health Care Providers Advanced Practice Stakeholder Governance Group.
* Develop pathways for ambulatory presentations and collaborate with the emergency nursing and emergency medicine team.
* See, diagnose, and treat ambulatory presentations, such as minor medical and surgical conditions, urological conditions, and post exposure prophylaxis.
* Develop further pathways for ambulatory presentations and be responsible for the service audit and development of KPIs.
This role requires advanced clinical and theoretical knowledge, critical thinking, clinical leadership, and decision-making skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of knowledge, skill, and experience applied within the nurse-patient/client relationship to achieve optimal outcomes through critical analysis, problem-solving, and accurate decision-making.
Key qualifications include being a Registered Nurse on the NMBIs Active Register, having a broad base of clinical experience relevant to the advanced field of practice, and being eligible to undertake a Masters Degree in Nursing or a relevant Masters Degree at Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
