As a Van Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving a truck along established routes, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing top-tier service to our customers. You will work closely with your Sales Manager to execute business plans, achieve sales and distribution targets, and promote our products effectively.
Job Description
- Drive a truck along established routes, ensuring timely deliveries
- Identify and develop new sales leads within the territory
- Provide excellent service and build lasting relationships with customers
- Execute the business plan in collaboration with your Sales Manager
- Achieve sales, distribution, and promotional targets
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and driving legislation
- Promote company values and represent the brand professionally
- Support product launches and promotional activities
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
- Provide feedback on trade insights, competitor activity, and retailer needs
- Perform ad hoc duties to support smooth business operations
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrates a strong sales instinct with the ability to sell diverse products
- Holds a full clean C1 drivers license and up-to-date CPC card
- Has excellent relationship-building skills with key customers and retailers
- Experienced in FMCG or direct-to-store roles (desirable)
- Possesses strong communication and reporting abilities
- Capable of managing stock levels and ensuring product availability
- Proactive, creative, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
