Application Support Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Engineer to work on the maintenance and support of our in-house applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting applications developed using Java and SQL, as well as managing incident, problem, and change management processes within DevOps environments.
This role requires excellent knowledge in SQL and Unix, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication and influencing capabilities. If you have a solid working knowledge of Unix commands for system-level operations and diagnostics, and can independently create comprehensive documentation, including Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), then we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for in-house applications developed using Java and SQL
* Manage incident, problem, and change management processes within DevOps environments
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues using analytical and problem-solving skills
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs and RCA
Requirements
* Proficient in SQL, with expertise in writing subqueries and performing complex joins
* Strong proficiency in troubleshooting applications developed using Java and SQL
* Solid working knowledge of Unix commands for system-level operations and diagnostics
* Demonstrated ability to independently create comprehensive documentation
* Skilled in managing incident, problem, and change management processes
