Service Line Operations Director Job Description
The role of Service Line Operations Director is a leadership position that drives business performance and supports the implementation of strategic growth initiatives.
This key role reports to the Head of Consulting and is part of the Consulting Leadership Team, overseeing operational services for the Service Line.
* Drive business performance and profitability by leading support & operational processes for the Service Line, including planning, financial management, resourcing, headcount/cost optimization, and business improvement projects.
* Lead the Consulting Operations team and coordinate all aspects of operational services to the Service Line, ensuring seamless execution.
* Participate in firm-wide change projects in conjunction with Global or Area Service Line initiatives, driving business growth and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive business plans, including Growth Investment strategies, Budgets, Service Delivery Models (SDMs), and Workforce Planning initiatives.
2. Closely monitor business performance and outlook, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with SL, Sub-SL, Markets/Sectors, and Competency teams to drive maximum performance.
3. Oversee SDM delivery, including headcount management, recruitment, and initiatives aimed at optimizing offshore/nearshore team deployment, ensuring effective use of resources.
4. Contribute to pricing policies and shape profitable sales strategies in collaboration with SL, SSL, and Market leadership, driving revenue growth.
5. Monitor engagement financials/margin and working capital performance, working closely with the Finance team to optimize results.
6. Develop and deliver Consulting's Reward strategy, covering pay levels, VPS/bonus delivery, and annual pay reviews, in collaboration with CBS Reward and Talent teams.
7. Manage indirect costs effectively, ensuring efficient use of discretionary cash spend and influencing indirect spend decisions in conjunction with CBS.
8. Lead other SL strategic and operational projects as required, driving business growth and innovation.
