Ergo is seeking a
Senior MS Teams Engineer
for a contract opportunity in Dublin. The successful candidate will ensure reliable performance across a small Unified Comms (UC) function which includes voice, video, and conferencing services.
You will lead the UCC (Unified Communications & Collaboration) function and a small team supporting VIP conference calls in a predominantly MS Teams environment with a
retiring legacy Cisco system
.
This is a
hybrid
role with potential to extend.
What will you do?
* Oversee and manage Unified Communications operations with a primary focus on Microsoft Teams.
* Manage incident escalation, root-cause analysis, and service recovery activities.
* Lead and coordinate a small UCC support function.
* Provide structured reporting on service performance, issues, and improvements.
* Ensure all users and services are fully transitioned and stable within the Teams environment.
* Work with technical teams and vendors to ensure configuration accuracy and seamless cutovers.
What do you need?
* Strong expertise with
Microsoft Teams
(voice, conferencing, room systems, call queues, policy configuration, administration).
* Proven experience managing or leading UCC or collaboration operations.
* Strong stakeholder-management skills in enterprise environments.
* Familiarity with Cisco UCC (CUCM, voice gateways, telephony) for short-term transition support.
* Comfortable with early-morning availability for high-profile meetings when needed.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
