Opportunity for Calibration Technician based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work in a pharmaceutical environment, as part of a team of Instrument Calibration Technicians.
The Calibration Technician is responsible for executing calibrations of all utilities instrumentation, and where applicable, process/laboratory instrumentation, in the field as per site schedules and procedures.
Day to Day of the Role
 * Execution of calibrations as per site schedule and site procedures, as directed by the Lead Calibration technician
 * Execution of scheduled and unscheduled work orders, where appropriate, as per site schedule and site procedures, as directed by the Lead Calibration technician
 * Troubleshoot problems with instrumentation as necessary and as directed by site supervisors
 * Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriate.
 * Liaise and work with the Shift/day maintenance team on all instrumentation calibration issues
 * Liaise with Contractors during planned vendor calibrations.
 * Carry out Risk Assessment of instrumentation calibration steps and ensure these are always kept valid.
 * Enter calibration certs onto the site Computerised Calibration Management System
 * Execution of Calibration duties as defined by Supervisor.
 * Ability to work under own supervision on Client locations
 * Have flexible approach to duties as outlined by Supervisor
Required Skills for the Role
 * At least 6 months technical experience (Essential)
 * National Craft Certificate (or equivalent) in appropriate mechanical or electrical discipline or Cert/diploma/degree (or equivalent) in appropriate mechanical or electrical discipline (Essential)
 * Excellent communication and documentation skills.
 * Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.
 * Work within a Computerized Calibration Management System environment.
 * Understanding of SOP's and GMP Engineering systems.
 * Excellent Organisational and planning skills
 * Methodical & Analytical approach to work.
 * Good problem solving and trouble shooting ability.
 * Ability to fault find and trouble shoot Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Pneumatic Systems
