We're seeking an experiencedMaintenance Fitterto join a leading engineering team supporting large-scale facilities and infrastructure projects. You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting ofmechanical and electrical systems,ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.Location: Cork (primary) or Dublin (considered with experience)Employment Type: Full-Time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, etc.).Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on production, utility, and facilities systems.Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.Adhere to all health & safety and compliance standards.Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams to resolve issues quickly.Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.Requirements:Recognized trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or similar.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience with automated systems, PLCs, or instrumentation is an advantage.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within industrial, utilities, or manufacturing environments.Good communication and teamwork skills.Flexibility to work shifts or respond to call-outs if required.Desirable:Additional electrical certification (e.g., QQI Level 6, Electrical Craft Certificate).Experience in water/wastewater, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.Salary & Benefits:Salary Range: €50,000–€60,000 per annum (DOE)Negotiable for those with additional certifications, shift work, or experience in complex/regulated environments.Opportunities for training and career progression.To Apply:Send your CV and a brief cover note outlining your relevant experience.
