As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations across multiple regions, including Ireland, the US, and the UK.
The ideal professional will be a fully qualified accountant with 2+ years post-qualification experience, an individual who can work independently with ambition to grow into a more senior role. Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
2. Profitability Analysis: Conduct analysis on profitability, margins, and cost management to support business decisions.
3. Month-End Close: Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes in collaboration with other departments.
4. Management Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports for management and stakeholders, including investors.
5. Reconciliations: Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies.
6. Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems.
7. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
8. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling activities.
9. Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to support financial needs and provide cross-functional assistance as needed.
10. Audit Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit.
Requirements:
1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Excellent attention to detail and good technical skills.
