Operations Executive Today at Osborne we are seeking an Operations Executive in our clients Circular Economy Projects & Programmes Department in their Head Office in Dublin 12.
This is an office & filed based role.
The successful candidate will work across collection networks, retail and logistics partners, and producer members to develop innovative solutions in reuse, preparation for reuse, remanufacturing, repair, and takeback systems.
This position complements, but does not overlap with, existing operations focused on the core national collection and recycling system.
Salary and Benefits: €45,000 Office & field based 23 days Annual Leave Onsite Parking Pension Contribution up to 5% Matched Progression Path Flexible hours Responsibilities: Lead the design, planning, and delivery of circular economy initiatives in line with the Circular Strategy (20252027) and annual programme plans Manage end-to-end projects related to reuse, preparation for reuse (Pf R), remanufacturing, refurbishment, and innovative takeback pilot Develop and implement enhanced takeback solutions for the company, including retail collection models, e-commerce integrations, courier and postal logistics, and community-based initiatives Identify and develop new partnerships beyond traditional collection networks to expand consumer return options Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers, retailers, producer members, Pf R and repair operators, and innovation networks such as CIRCULIRE and academic or research partners Represent the organisation at relevant workshops, working groups, and industry events focused on circular economy and systems innovation Collaborate with internal teams across operations, environmental compliance, and communications to integrate circular initiatives into wider activities Contribute to continuous improvement by piloting new technologies, operational models, and digital tools to support data-driven circularity Develop workflows, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for new programmes and initiatives Prepare reports, dashboards, and updates for internal stakeholders, producer members, and regulatory bodies Ensure compliance with national and EU waste legislation, Support the preparation of annual reports, strategy updates, and submissions for policy and regulatory consultations Essential Requirements: Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field.
Project management qualification or equivalent experience is an advantage.
3+ years experience in operations, logistics, sustainability, circular economy, supply chain, waste/environmental compliance, or similar sectors.
Experience managing projects end-to-end, from scoping to delivery and evaluation.
Experience working with external partners, supply chains, service providers or technical contractors.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
