Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient and safe daily operations.
* Maintain up-to-date site records and align workforce levels with project targets.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality expectations are met.
* Implement and oversee Health & Safety protocols and Quality Management Systems.
* Drive continuous process improvement while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
* Coordinate material requisitions and manage timely, specification-compliant deliveries.
* Lead and participate in site meetings to ensure clear communication among stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in site management, ideally with a main contractor.
* Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related trade background.
* Proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee subcontractors.
* Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
* Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational abilities.
* In-depth understanding of construction practices and industry regulations.
