Our Client is a rapidly expanding Irish Consultancy who are seeking an experienced Associate Level Structural Engineer in their Dublin City Centre Office.
Working on challenging structural engineering design projects, from residential to multi-million euro commercial developments, industrial and Data center projects.
As an Associate, you will lead the structural design and delivery of significant projects across a range of sectors. You will combine technical authority with commercial awareness, managing projects from early concept through construction and handover. The role involves close collaboration with Directors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams, as well as the mentorship and development of engineers within the practice.
You will be entrusted with decision-making responsibility across engineering design, programme delivery, cost control, and client management, while representing the consultancy as a senior professional level.
Requirements
Masters or Honours degree in Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland and/or IStructE
At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in a consulting engineering environment
Proven experience delivering complex structural projects with significant responsibility
Strong conceptual and detailed design capability across multiple structural materials, e.g. concrete, steel, masonry, timber, etc.
Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, ETABS or equivalent)
Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD in a coordinated BIM environment
High level of competence in Microsoft Office and project planning tools
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement on complex technical and commercial matters
Strong leadership and people-management skills within multidisciplinary teams
Sound commercial awareness with experience managing project finances and client relationships
Adaptable, solutions-focused mindset with a proactive and professional approach
Full Drivers Licence desirable
