Opportunity at a 4-star hotel in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
The hotel is part of a well-established Irish-owned group involved in retail grocery and hospitality industries.
The company owns several large Super Valu stores and two 4-star hotels in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, and Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
The company currently employs over 550 staff members.
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Front Office Manager to join our professional reception team.
1. Manage a team of 7 staff including reception and night porters.
2. Oversee the Front Desk and Back office Administration.
3. Ensure guests receive excellent customer service from the front desk at all times.
4. Review and compile SOPs for the Front Office Department.
5. Staff Training.
6. Daily Management of Hotel & Third-Party Websites (rates, availability etc.).
7. Management of Group Reservations in conjunction with Sales department.
8. Debtors Management.
9. Work in conjunction with hotel Sales Team and Group Revenue Manager.
10. Attend HOD and Sales Meetings.
11. Provide backup to the reception team for Lunch and Holiday cover.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within a 3/4-star hotel is essential.
* Must be computer literate (Word & Excel).
* Must be fluent in English both written and spoken.
* Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
* Must be able to multitask and willing to help out where required in all areas of the property.
* Excellent customer care skills.
* Excellent communications skills.
* Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Must be available to work a combination of shifts both early and late.
