If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Social Care Worker in a full-time position in Wicklow.
Position: Social Care Worker Location: Wicklow Hours: 39 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality person-centred care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
Assist in daily living activities, promoting independence, social inclusion, and personal development.
Support individuals with personal care, health management, and social activities.
Work as part of a collaborative team to deliver the best care possible.
Ensure all care and support complies with HIQA regulations and standards.
Participate in shift work, including sleepovers, night duty, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Requirements: Graduate or currently studying towards a QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies, Social Care, or an equivalent qualification.
CORU registration or in the process of obtaining registration.
A genuine interest in working with individuals who have intellectual disabilities and autism.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Flexibility and reliability for shift work, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Knowledge of HIQA regulations for residential and respite services.
A Full driving license and willingness to drive company vehicles.
